Elder Reginato, President & Sister Stanford- Feb 26, 2022

So, I've been terrible updating this blog because I keep waiting for Elder Reginato to send a weekly email I can post, but I think we can now say, that's just not his style haha! So, I'm going to start just keeping a weekly record of his mission, from our point of view, based on our phone/video calls, and any text messages he sends me:)

This week was a big week for Elder Reginato! After almost a year since he opened his call back in April 2021, then 6 weeks of Home MTC, and 4 wonderful months serving in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission, Elder Reginato FINALLY got his transfer to Bolivia!! His journey to Bolivia was NOT smooth, but we got an email from Sister Stanford early this morning with a picture proving he had safely arrived in Santa Cruz and had been picked up by his Mission President and his wife. Phew!

Nate's last week in Wisconsin was a special one because his Dad, Martin, was able to go visit him before he left. They spent the afternoon together on Tuesday, bowling and having dinner with his companions. Saying goodbye in the morning was harder than the last time, but they both loved that last day they got to hang out!

Elder Reginato's journey to Bolivia was rough because American Airlines had terrible delays which led him to miss both connections, stuck for hours at the Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and Miami airports. His Covid test expired, had to hustle around to get a new one before he could leave for Bolivia, hung out with some Miami missionaries for the day to sleep and bathe at their apartment, tracked down his luggage, etc, etc, etc... He had a great attitude throughout the whole thing, and thank goodness he chose to take his guitar as one of his carryons so that helped keep his sanity those 2 long days.

I'll post a few picture/info dumps with a bunch of stuff from his time in Wisconsin, and will just move on from here with his new adventures in Bolivia. Thanks for all you love and support for our dear Elder Reginato. Please email him when you can as he starts this new phase of his mission so far from homeđź’™

Elder Reginato Facebook Post- November 14th, 2021 Here I am in Racine, Wisconsin.  To stay consistent with my character complex, here is a beautiful analogy for your beautiful sunday afternoon; When you keep water in a tower, or above all else in a town, water automatically is pressurized and can be pumped anywhere in the town with ease.  Similarly, when you keep Christ above all else in your life, you will see blessing automatically flow in to every aspect of your life.  The truth is though, you first have to pump the water up to the tower. You have to work to put Christ above everything else in your life. But the work is proven justified when the water and blessings flow effortlessly to the town and your life. I promise, if you do the work to put Christ first in your life, you will notice blessings more than you've ever seen. If you don't agree, literally just prove me wrong by living by Christ's example and show me you aren't happier, or blessed with more in you...
