Week 10 (11/7-11/13)

Great call again but no emails, sorry! Elder Reginato is really enjoying his time in Kenosha. Elder Boehlen and Elder Reginato had their 1st baptism together! Nate said it was an incredibly spiritual experience and he felt so honored to be a part of it. 

Nate is happy he still gets in a workout every morning, and has picked up a new game, basketball! Sadly, he twisted his ankle pretty bad and ended up at the urgent care to make sure it wasn't broken. Lucky for him, it was just a bad sprain!

The weather has started to change and Nate says some days a VERY cold. He's happy he took his puffy jacket, gloves, etc. Nate spends a lot of time with the other elders and sisters in his district, which he loves. They spend most of their time contacting people via Facebook, which he doesn't love as much haha! But he's learning how useful technology can be in spreading the gospel, even if he wishes they were out knocking doors. 

Nate misses home, misses some of the old comforts of life, but is dedicated and happy to be serving the Lord in Wisconsin. We are proud of him every day, and love hearing about his adventures each Monday! Hopefully he'll send an email I can post soon:)

  Elder Reginato Facebook Post- November 14th, 2021 Here I am in Racine, Wisconsin.  To stay consistent with my character complex, here is a beautiful analogy for your beautiful sunday afternoon; When you keep water in a tower, or above all else in a town, water automatically is pressurized and can be pumped anywhere in the town with ease.  Similarly, when you keep Christ above all else in your life, you will see blessing automatically flow in to every aspect of your life.  The truth is though, you first have to pump the water up to the tower. You have to work to put Christ above everything else in your life. But the work is proven justified when the water and blessings flow effortlessly to the town and your life. I promise, if you do the work to put Christ first in your life, you will notice blessings more than you've ever seen. If you don't agree, literally just prove me wrong by living by Christ's example and show me you aren't happier, or blessed with more in you...

Week 7- Welcome to Milwaukee! (10/19-10/23)

 Elder Reginato arrived safe and sound in Milwaukee:) He loves his new trainer/companion, Elder Boehlen, and was excited to get to work. He was picked up with a large group of other new missionaries, stayed in a hotel on night one, and met everyone the next morning.  Arrival group (October 19, 2021) Mission President Welcome Bus full of Missionaries Two years worth of luggage:) First Night Testimony Meeting Elder Reginato "meeting" President and Sister Murphy Elder Reginato and Elder Boehlen assigned to serve in Kenosha, Wisconsin So fun to see a friendly face from home!  Sister Koch and Elder Reginato are serving in the same Zone:)

Week 8- Settling In (10/24-10/30)

 Elder Reginato hasn't sent an official email home yet but we did get to talk to him and he has sent some pictures home. He is really enjoying his time so far, loves all the other missionaries he's serving with, and is excited to keep learning and meeting new people!
